Cost - Fender Flare Replacement

On the second project Jeep, the fender flares were really sagging. They were
in desperate need of replacement. Some were sagging, some were cracked, all were held in place by rivets
and sheet metal screws and all in all, it looked horrible.
Since mounting hardware doesn't come with the fender flares, they had to be ordered separately. Both items
were ordered up from Quadratec and
arrived a few days later. The Fender Flares (part# 22510 00 07) were ordered from
Quadratec, but can easily be attained
from eBay as well. The Fender Flare
Mounting Hardware (part# 22510 7109K) at
Quadratec is a little expensive as well,
but it certainly beats trying to mount the flares with an odd combination of mounting hardware that you find
around your garage.

Conclusions

The total time should be around 2 hours all said and done. That being said,
time was spent removing the old fender flares and cleaning up the mounting area. Once this was done, the
new ones were put on with the new mounting hardware.
As you can see, there was no offset to help offset the cost of the project this time around. This project
can be completed in a couple hours using simple hand tools. All said and done can be had for around
$90.00 or less depending on how cheaply you get the fender flares for. Another option here is putting
extra wide fender flares on if you desire to help stuff larger and wider meats into the wheel wells which
at the same time will help to conform to your state's traffic laws.
