| Cost - H4 Halogen Headlight Conversion |
| |
After driving the Orange, Red, and now Yellow Jeep around for over a year now, it dawned
on me that when I was driving the Jeeps at night and had the high beams on, the light that the bulbs produced was not
adequate to see the deer on the back country roads, so it was determined to do something about upgrading the lighting
capabilities.
The lights were ordered up from 4wd.com as
they were found to be the cheapest ones I could find on the Internet. In a few days the parts arrived.

| Since one of the headlights was broken, that went in the trash and the other is going to be
used as a spare. You need to reuse the headlight buckets, so that can't be sold to offset the cost.

| Conclusions |
| |
| The total time should be less then 1 hour to complete the conversion of your old headlights to
the new style H4 Halogen light bulbs. Although it is expensive to do this upgrade, the light improvement is great enough to
offset the cost and chances are you will never have to replace the bulb for the lifetime of the Jeep.
