Hints - Full Wiring Harness Replacement

When you set out to rewire the Jeep, you are doing it because the PO (previous owner) usually did some creative wiring when putting extra accessories on the rig you purchased.

The bottom line is this, TAKE YOUR TIME! I have done 2 complete wiring harness replacements and as with all projects, you learn a thing or two when you do it and then do it again.

If you are going to spend a large amount of money to get a Painless Wiring Kit, make sure when you put it in that you take your time. The people that put it together do it in such a way that it is universal to the Jeep, so you might have to undo a little of their work to route the wires properly, but in the long run, it is very easy to do and you will really truly enjoy the benefits. The pictures show what a little planning and some undoing of the shipped harness will net you out if you TAKE YOUR TIME!

Remember, you are after a functional wiring setup for your rig, but that doesn't mean it has to look like crap!
