SOA |
Spring Over Axle |
|
This is a process used to gain lift on leaf sprung vehicles (i.e., Jeep CJs and YJs) that are
manufactured with leaf springs mounted below the axle. By moving the leaf springs to the topside
of the axle, the vehicle typically gains 4"-6" of vehicle suspension lift. This allows for larger offroad tires
to be mounted without contacting the vehicle's body.
