(03.23.15) I finally got a bit tired of the firewall and went to work on the roll bar, which I knew wouldn’t be a picnic either. This was after of course the more patching on the firewall, the installation of the hi/low beam switch and the dash pad and seat fitting to make sure everything was OK.

There is just a lot of fitting to be done unfortunately, it sucks. But it is what it is to do it the right way and make it safe.

I got a few things done this week, but with work, the weather, and the kids activities, it has slowed somewhat. I wanted to get this stuff updated before I went out and did anything else. I plan on doing some rear seat/floor/storage container stuff tonight if all goes well. I will get back to the firewall and the floors this week and weekend. The roll bar is set though, which was kind of a big deal to see how it would all fit and tie in as CJ and YJ aren't 100% able to play nicely.

(03.26.15) I have moved onto the rear section this week as I knew I wouldn’t have a ton of time and I wanted to see how much would have to be modified to make it all work. I have gotten the seat down from storage and put the rear trunk storage box in place just to see how it all worked out, then turned my attention to the seat.

I have turned the mounts around and used a YJ setup base and will make the bracket to be all bolt in, plug and play. It was I think the right thing to do instead of drilling holes everywhere.

(03.27.15) I have the seat mounted and moved onto the rear box. I need to make a set of mounts still for that as well as the 2 other bolts for the outer part of the rear set, but progress is being made.
