(10/30/07) I was away for a couple of days, but just got home and went out in the garage for a few hours. I was able to get the roll bar off, get a few more things taken off as well as started on the removal of the rear panel for the replacement one that will be put on when they come in. I ordered them up the other day, not sure when they will come in.

As you can see, the passenger side is pretty nice. I broke off a couple bolts, but they should come out with a little heat and a welded nut.

The driver side looks almost exactly the way the "Yellow Jeep" was, but just a little more damage to the floor side of things. pic here. So, we will have to order up a new part for that to fix it up.

I need to drill out the rest of the spot welds as well for the rear panels and after that, I think we will be in good shape.

(10/31/07) We were doing a few things around the yard before it got too dark, but I was able to get out in the garage for an hour to try the fitment of the Scrambler bulkhead since the roll bar is now out of the Jeep… it looked pretty good I have to say. I need a new down support structure for the driver side of the Jeep where the hole was, but other then that, I think we are in good shape. I posted some questions up on the forum sites to see if someone has pictures of how they attached it.

Other then that, I continued in trying to remove the rear section where the gas tank filler will be… I got a few more spot welds to go and then I think we will be in good shape.

The spot welds are kind of hard to see in some spots... others aren't too bad, but the ones that are hard need a little figuring out to see where they are... I am trying a variety of things that I have seen on the rebuilding shows, but it really is just a matter of patience... which apparently I am short on... ask my wife.
