304 Engine Rebuild and Build-up

Well, it was a long time coming, but it finally came to the point where I needed to rebuild the motor. So, I talked it over with a lot of people, got a bunch of information about where to have it done, what the approximate build costs would be and what each part of the process entailed and when the dust settled, I chose a place in Stratford, CT that goes by the name Coleman Racing Engines.

I know it is strange to think about a Jeep as a racing engine, but these guys were good, they worked with tight tolerances and they really produce showpiece motors, as you will see in the pictures of the build-up. It was a great project, check out the pictures and see what you think.
